Ok I am laying 300x600 high polished porcelin around a bath..the bath width is 760mm...usual length is 1700mm so only going to bath width and length..where would you start on the 760 wall..use a full tile leaving a cut of 158ish..she's undecided on brick bond yet but if not I'm not sure a cut of 158ish will look good in the corner? What would you do ?

I would do whole tile on the short end and cut into the corner (160 cut) and then whole tile center of centre on the long wall (550mm cut)....then the "wrap" around will look like whole tile!
If I understand correctly.
All the best
Lee
If they are stacked this will mean more tiles and wastage. If broken bond he may be able to use some of the off cuts.
But I'd do the same after making sure there were enough tiles before I started.

I cant get the photo off my phone where on the right hand side there is 80mm against 550 (nice) but then there is 160mm cut against 250mm cut ....(kinda half tile)......

Not keen on some of your lines - did you just use an eye line or did you have access to a laser level ?
Also think that the 710 and 330 mm cuts are uneven to follow round, so I'd suggest it's back to the pub or drawing board!
what do you mean BACK?...hehhheheheeeee

I am already here with the PAD....where are you?.......I have a pint on the bar waiting!

hahahhaaaa... you would never notice it......but I did have an option 2......630mm and 410mm!...........hehehheheheeee....

I would go with option one......if it was 3 sides of a standard bath.....personally!.....I think it will look best!......but that is mearly an opinion......and we all have one of them!

nite nite John!

Leeeeeeeeeee:thumbsup:
