just a quickie - got this 4 tile pattern to do http://www.daltileproducts.com/images/tile_patterns/pdf/Modified_Hopscotch.pdf
thing is, ignore the sizes quoted on the link
tiles for the job i have are roughly 45x45, 34x45, 34x34 and 11x11 cm
have already roughly dry laid one room, job is for a friend, and the issue i am having is that the pattern allows for grout lines everywhere except for 1 place, so bear with me as i try to explain
the medium square and the small square butted up is 5mm shorter than the long side of the rectangle tile. all good
but the small square butted up against short side of the rectangle is exactly the same width as the big square!! so no allowance for grout line
what would you guys do - shave 5mm off one side of each small tile or try to lose the difference and do slightly thinner grout lines?
hope you understand and can advise
cheers
