Recommended tools from you guys??

Hi gents,

What wet cutters are the most commonly used and what are the best ones?

Also what do you guys use to mark DARK tiles for wet cutting, using fibre tip pens obviously get washed away when water hits the tile. So just wondered what you all use. Pencils are ok on lighter tiles but i recently finished a floor with jet black ceramic tiles......could hardly see where I had marked!

Tradetiler Wet Tile Saws The Dewalt DW24000 is the best wetsaw for the money easily IMO
Tradetiler tilers pens and pencils The china markers or the orange pens work well but make sure tile is dry before you mark.

u can usually get a white pencil for marking black tiles think most ppl use the dewalt wet cutter havnt got one myself but i no alot of guys swear by them

Yeah i been using the chinagraph ones but they are very thick on the tip, gives an inaccurate mark up IMO. i'll check out the cutters you have recommended.....cheers fellas.

I scribe the L shape (or whatever) on the tile with the manual cutter, then I cut alongside this mark on the wetwheel.

A grout pen is good for marking dark tiles (about the only thing it's good for). Dries on like paint then any excess can be scraped/wiped off.

same as bolter for me also helps to avoid chippingon the toughest porcelain

Blue wax pencils, or same as bolter for me.

I use the Sigma Jolly, expensive but tough. Really like the Rubi double rail one tho.
