just wondered does anyone keep records of meterage /types of job done over the year and wher ther work has come from?

Yes it's easy. Just need to open my invoices, and i know exactly how many metres and where work come from

I always ask where the customer got my number from but, never make a note of it.

I take all notes like name, address, where they got my number, sizes etc & put them on mental note before converting the info to invoice2go.

i have kept notes on where the jobs came from this year so as to try and guage how much has been repeat work,
