Bought one tube of limestone Silicon for ensuite I did the other day. Final bead to be done was along back of window sill and the cartridge trigger started firming up and I was barely halfway. I was willing it to go the distance, proper bead whispering. Final death squeeze on the trigger and it ran out at the exact moment I completed the line.
Never had that happen before.

Sounds like you're on a good run of luck Nick!
Easy set outs, perfect amount of Silicon, 2000 posts,
window sill coming together!
Payback for your last metro job perhaps? Haha

I'm even having this weekend off! I'll finish all this extension work off on Monday. Quoting Tuesday, start a splashback Wednesday and after that a nice easy split faced slate fireplace wall takes me up to a fortnight in Lanzagrotty whoop whoop!!

Happened to me couple of weeks ago, ran out of silver grey halfway down a shower corner, then remembered the bit left in the nozzle, stuck another tube of any old colour on same nozzle n managed to finish it :)

yeah I've done that before - didn't have another tube but if you take nozzle off and shove a thin screwdriver down the cartridge you can push the plunger back enough to get out what's left in the nozzle
