removing bal acrylic primer

hey folks

wonder if anyone can help.

primed up to a 5 tile high line, then customer decided they only wanted 4 with a border so i have a strip of primer all way round the room and paint does not like it. any way of removing this, tried a sander but not great,

have you tried Zinnzer bulls eye

the problem is that the primer has soaked into the substrate and sealed it

emulsion wont take to it

no not tried bulls eye, not even sure where i would get it from.

zinnzer do several primers so its worth reading all the cans to get the right one

all the proper decorators merchants do it

cheers for the info guys

the paint does not take well at all and because ive rubbed the backside of it its peeled off in areas and not in others so is still visible when painting. especially as the sunlight is on the wal most the afternoon.

yes mark

its a range of primers for problem substrates and will take all finishes

not cheap but I keep some on the van

I thought you were asking if zinnzer can be painted over

emulsion wont take to acrylic primer as the surface is sealed, its the same as trying to paint over pva
