Removing tiles

Todays job was removing 20m2 of wall tiles from a fairly new house. Well you know how it is, will they come off clean or will it need a lot of replastering or prep work......Neednt have worried...just one area to sort ...take a peek

I see they left a bit of access to the shower valves then:lol:

I'am off down to the south to take some tiles up that have been down 3 years.
Owners said the 'tilers' had had a job to keep the floor level:lol: - when I took a cracked tile up a couple of months ago to see what the problem was, they had used broken tiles to pack the corners up and dotted adhesive like the famous five!
It will be another good rouges gallery one.

Dot & dab comes in handy, when you have to remove tiles:lol: makes things easier

i was just going to ask is anyone had seen this exact thing John
the kitchen floor i am doing at the moment had been packed with broken bits of tile.
never come across it before on a floor.

It's a sad thing though but a lot of this standard of work is done by "pro's".....!!!
