replacing floor boards

Hi,

I'm pricing up for big luxury bathroom. They don't want to have a step up into. It is first floor bathroom with floor boards. Normally I would just board over with ply then tile, but they want big 12m tiles so with 12m ply that will be 24m. Has anyone ever replaced floor boards with anything i.e tongue and grove then used two part flexi?

Are there other alternatives?

Thanks

22mm ply or 18mm would be the minimum to use, add extra noggins to strengthen the floor.

What tiles are they

yep, plus the depth of addy and tiles, you're gonna come above the other floorboards whatever you do:thumbsup:

Prime the back of the ply and edges, should be fine.

I like to leave a small gap between each board and lay to right angles to the joists

edone no disrespect but if that part of the job is out of your league bring a chippy in to do it then crack on with the tiling!!!!
