reversing cameras

hi there.

i have bought a new berlingo van lately.
there is no glass etc in the back doors only metal.
problem is that there is a massive blind spot behind the van.
im always thinking that there might be something or someone there .

do any of you have a revering camera on you van etc.

i would like something discrete and not a big block bolted to the roof

My transit has reversing sensors. Very handy.

I've got reversing sensors in the Amarok (not arrived yet it should be here Jan now ) but I've had a decent Kenwood stereo and dvd player. I'll be getting a TV tuner for it for freeview, and also a reversing camera too. Not looked at options yet but as I've got half of the unit already in effect, it'll only be the camera I buy so shouldn't work out much.

Sensors should be enough though they can detect small posts, so will detect people too.

The sensors on my van are too sensitive, the beep goes to constant when I'm about 3 feet from an obstacle, really annoying when I'm trying to parallel park in a tight space. Just ignore it most of the time.

Having worked as a courier for 18 yrs I have never reversed into anything, if you need gimmicks on a small van then lord help us all !!!

Couriers couldn't give 2 hoots even if they did bump it but when you pay 20 grand for a van then you want some back up just incase..

i hav to agree to a point.
its not for normal reversing (the mirrors are for that) i want it more for seeing how close i am to something or to see if someone walks behind.
i have tried parralel parking a few times but couldnt judge where the car behind was.
its very helpfull to know if your 6 inchs or 2 feet away
