romove Silicon from carpet

Any ideas appreciated, ive stupidly rubed it in whilst trying to clean....help :-(

Phone the Silicon manufacturer sharpish and ask them what solvent will soften/remove the product.

Then check an unobtrusive corner of carpet to make sure it doesn't bleach/melt it.

EVO adhesive remover done the trick, to say I was impressed is an understatement!.. took about an hour with it!

Wish I had taken before and after pics, could not believe the grey matted mess to perfect result on cream carpet. EVO adhesive remover, cost about 6 quid from bnq

Think ill pop down b and q in morning and get myself some of that to clean up Silicon residue on shower before i re -seal.......

big wipes industrial you can get them from any builders merchants thay do the job
