Lads & girls, If the weather is dry and above 5deg c, then I am off to London to tile 30sqm of penthouse patio in 300x300 porcelain. It's on to an asphalt and concrete roof. As you can imagine this job will be quite pricey. So, to keep my price competitive I am using 12 tubs of Toppfix 2 part flexible. The current tiles are coming away from the roof as I believe water has penetrated the grout. So the whole lot is being replaced. I've just popped onto a tools website . I notice that they have a 12mm square notched trowel for sale. It states that it should be used on concrete & screed floors. I've only got a 6mm & 10mm trowel. My questions are:
1). Is the 5deg centigrade rule a rule or a guide?
2)Should I invest in a 12mm trowel?
3)is TOPPFIX 2pt flex good to use?
4)Any other tips for working outside?
Thanks
Sean
