Rotten Floor Boards

Been to look at a bathroom job to tile walls and floor ??? Not a problem until I investigate a bit more the bath, toilet & sink with pedestal to floor have recently been fitted the floor is the old style floor boards very solid but around the base of the pedastal the floor boards are rotting quite badly. The customer informs me that the bathroom was only fitted 4 weeks ago so looks like plumber has fitted pedestal to rotted floor boards. What would the advice be ?? Remove pedestal and cut out rotted boards or replace the whole floor which is only approx 3 sqm.

Be tempting to rip out the old floor and replace with thick ply, re-fit bathrrom suit and tile.

Rip the floor out and replace with 25mm or the thickest wbp ply you can, then atleast you know you have a sound floor to tile to.

Thanks for the response think I will take the advice and rip it out and start from scratch.
