rubi scoring wheels

I have bought a tx700 and a ts40 cutters second hand at decent prices, i want to change the wheels on both so i know they are brand new (as i dont know how much use theyve had in the past) - is there any particular size i should go for or should i infact have a selection of sizes for different jobs?? sorry if this is a silly question or if its been asked before, is there any sort of guide for when to use different sized wheels??

A 6mm ( 01945 ) will do for wall tiles on a TS40 , 8mm ( 01958 ) will do floor tiles on it and porcelain but not sure the breaker will think much of the Porc :0)

As for the TX 700 , I use an 18mm ( 01992 ) for floor tiles and an 8mm ( 01959 ) for porcelain and wall tiles , it is a good all rounder tbh.

Numbers in brackets are the RUBI codes.

Hotrod. Nip in to your local topps or CTD and ask if they have a Rubi handbook or catalogue. All the wheels are listed in there (along with other great Rubi tools) but there's a guide as to what wheels are used for what. There's a lot of them!

If you get the 6mm wheel , make sure you get a couple , i used to go through a few as they can collapse when scoring over hard on tiles etc..
