Scratched Limestone...

Started doing some work for a company who install fire places and woodburners..Here is my job tmro, fitters installed a woodburner and scratched the limestone hearth. So i have to go and remove the scr atches..Happens alot due to the weight of fitting woodburners...suits me more work!! :smilewinkgrin: I will post photo's of completed job tmro if all goes well.

Yes i will use my fein with diamond pads and feather the marks out. I will start with 400 grit and work up from there.

They look too deep for 400 Andrew.. i would start at 100..

Well i have finished the job, very happy customer and very happy fir eplace company...Also the customer want's me to tile her kitchen floor in her barn conversion December. Her are a few photo's of the finished job.

Yes it was a fein multimaster, i find it an ideal machine for this type of work.

Just to give you guys an idea, the photo with my key ring with scratch was before, then i started with the yellow pad 400 grit, then next pic with the white pad 800 grit, then the next pic with the blue pad 1800 grit, then finished with the orance pad 12000. then the finished pic is the key ring with no scratch. Tried to put photo's in order but it didnt work...
