Evenin' all.
Did a site visit today for a job coming up. First floor of this house (newly built) has piped underfloor heating with a grey, tongue and groove, cement board type thing on top. It's called "screed board" and I ain't never seen it before.
The spec is for ditra on top of this but I wondered if anyone had come across this before and could share any info they have on it?
Looks like it might suck a fair bit of primer?

I can't help with the tiles side as I have never seen it tiled. I have seen it with wooden floors and with vinyl but not tiles. I kno what it says on the websit but my thinki is that as it is lots of loose laid boards there are lots of joints. It is also often laid on an acoustic layer which would possibly allow deflection at the joints. Just sounds dodgy to me. I would be looking for test data from Manufacturers to demonstrate it's suitability.
