Sealing limestone pavers

Hi all, we've laid some limestone pavers and today used a stain protector as advised by the company who sold the pavers.

We used lithofin stain stop, which claims to not change the stones but it's made ours a lot darker which is gutting. It's been a long DIY job and I'm kicking myself for not doing a patch test.

Is there anyway to remove the sealant and restore the limestone?

Did you leave the limestone sufficient time to loose moisture before sealing. ?

Yep, they dried out for about 3 weeks before sealing
