So I'm finally about to tile my bathroom floor, (43.5 x 43.5 ceramic) and have a dilemma, previously I've always managed to set tiles out so that they're fairly central as you walk through the doorway, if the tiles weren't even running along the walls either side it didn't matter as they were generally hidden.
But to get an even tile either side which will be seen i need to offset the doorway tiles which somehow doesn't look right..
I guess it's Hobsons choice but what do you guys do?

There are some jobs that just will not set out right as you you want.
You could brick bond the floor, that helps take your eye away from any oddness in the walls, but this may not be the style you want to see.
If the bathroom has a large bath, try a full tile from the bath panel, this will make a feature of the bath, or maybe a centreline from the middle of the toilet. These are not the usual way i'd set out, but some floors just won't work how you want.
I always try and work a full tile from the floor into the room. I may just be me but i think it starting with a cut tile in the door way looks incorrect.
