Nearly 30 hours in two days, not looking likely my next day off will be before the end of the month. Are all other trades as pushed or is it because we are finishers?

Anyoneone else up against a deadline and banging the hours in ?

I'am starting a new swimming pool tomoz in somerset ! but i never do silly hours 8-4 for me most of the time, its not worth ruining yourself for lol

I've been flat out on a kitchen installer the past two weeks cam. Worked all through bank holiday weekend and last weekend. 12 to 13 hour days. Except yesterday when a faulty plumbing product meant i was woken by a phone call at half 5, at the job for 6 and got back at 9pm. Right against it with this one but it is coming together.
I've got another kitchen install im trying to land. Supposed to be starting a shower room on Thursday but a call will have to be made tomorrow to put them back until Monday. Will probably be working this coming weekend too.
Not many other full install jobs lined up yet but have got a shower enclosure and tiling to do asap. 20sqm kitchen floor to get in and a bathroom floor also.

The kitchen im on at the minute is for the parents of the management my local topps. They already rushing cards but hopefully when things done I'll get plenty more recommendations coming my way.

I know what you mean, it's nice to have the work but sometimes it gets a bit to stressful trying to keep to deadlines and then working weekends to make sure your diary runs to plan. Got work till October probably at the minute and I'm gonna have to pass some jobs on Away on sat for a week tho.......... Can't wait. ✈

loads of work on too,unfortunately had to turn quite a bit of work down simply to "we really need it done within a couple of weeks" :mad2: same ole story!

Doing a job in oxshott at the moment with a very tight deadline as the builders were late and took up all the slack. Staying at the house whilst the customers are away, so putting in the hours. All good though and it's a very nice house so quite enjoyable staying in site.
