Sheera multi slate PROBLEM

hI

Can someone please advise me please . My tiler has put two coats of MATT LTP sealercolour intensifier in the slate . The whole floor is complete with two coats of the LTP sealer and colour intesifier .I Expected the LTP LTP Colour Intensifier & stain-block to bring out a more gloss wet look finish but it has not. My fault not reading that it’s a matt finish. Now my wife wants the sheen more of a wet look gloss finish. Someone suggested LITHOFIN wet look gloss slate sealer on here but im not sure if it will damage the slate using two different sealers

Now my question is this? I have used LTP sealer twice and if I put the LITOFIN on the matt finish would this create a chemical reaction and destroy the sheera multi slate tiles. Has anyone put LITHOFIN ONTO other sealers and succeeded.?? Please can someone advise urgently as I do not know what to do? We really need the wet look gloss finish .

If I was in the same position I would get a spear tile and coat it with 2 coats of Matt let it dry and then the gloss see how it looks and if it doesn't damage the tile b4 doing the all floor. Worth a try

I have never had much success with the wet look. It seems that this look is more for topical sealers and I dont like those on floors as they soon show signs of wear.

Its not really something I have 1st hand experience with. Maybe Mark from Fila could assist.

All you need is a product called stone glo

This can be applied on any sealer and will give you the wet look

Thats what I'd do. I prefer the wet look on slate myself.
