Mine is fully racked. Floor to ceiling, front to back & I've a Jumbo. Floor is 18mm ply the carpeted, walls is 6mm ply & racking up the offside is 12mm ply. Metal bulk head is removed & replaced with 18mm MDF with a large echo chamber for my sounds. Also have 2 build dog crates in 18mm MDF. I have a glaziers rack on the near side for all my sheet material. Buy the sheets & build it yourself. You'll save a fortune & you can make it the way you want it

Done mine with 18mm ply bulkhead, false floor on 4x2 for levels etc, and 18mm ply shelving with 12mm trim and angled aluminium at the edges. Few smaller lighter shelves with 12mm ply. Means you can make a nice custom fit for everything.

It is lol. To be honest, I need bigger lol. I started a project a while back but never finished it. I bought a SWB hi-top transit with front end damage, cut off the front end & welded a nose on it. Bought all the steel to convert it into a trailer but never got around to finishing it. Might do it again next year. Always wanted a van & a half! ;)

Sign writing has its pro's & cons. I had my Mk5 & Mk6 sign written & got lots of business from it. You've probably seen my old Mk6 being a Glasgow man. I don't have my Mk7 sign written for one main reason. I cannot take on the demand of work. I'm generally booked 2 months in advance. I end up knocking back a lot of work & there's nothing I hate more than that. I will be doing my van again but will be next year. Have all the plans for it & get all my sign writing free of charge. It's been nearly 2 years since I had my Mk6 but still get calls saying they remember my website from my van & google it from there.

Pros of being sign written: A well sign written van will bring in the business. It will get recognised all over & people remember the name. Looks very professional too when you arrive at your job.

Cons of being sign written: There are nasty people out there & a sign written van is telling them exactly what is stored in it. I got hit December last year & lost about £7k of tools. Its well alarmed & secure now though plus I've moved to a far better area. Van insurance is higher too purely for that reason. It becomes a target.

Pros of not being sign written: You can dump your rubbish at your local tip without paying trade waste prices (as long as you get on ok with the site guys)
