I don't think its a bad idea but I still think the washboy is quicker IMO. Maybe if the sponges were more like a washboy sponge it would be better.
The next thing is I take it you need a leccy supply to run it and as he sounds like a yank that machine will probably be 110V and that means we woiuld need a transformer as well? Or not!

Seen it a while ago and still think it is a great product but only if it does what it says, how clean do the sponges come out after you have been grouting for 4-5 hours using a charcoal grout?

No doubt though if it does keep them nice and clean all day it would be much faster than a washboy. Price needs cutting down though.
