Guys
I have a floor to tile with 600x300 porcelains in a brick bond (surprise!)
The floor substrate was half concrete half timber.
The timber side had noggins fixed between the joists & new 22mm T&G chipboard flooring. On top of that we glues & screwed 10mm Jacko boards down. The whole room was then SLC'd to bring it all up to level.
I will be putting a grout joint on the junction of the 2 substrates.
We have noticed some hairline cracks in the SLC but nothing major.
Question is would you use Ditra over the whole area or is that not necessary?
Many thanks
