Hi Guys,
doing our en suite and have built a shower bench (that in hindsight I should have arranged to be shorter!).
It's 126cm long on the front edge and 103cm on the back (abuts a 45ish deg wall at the left end) and 23cm deep. I can top it with 3x 457mm stone tiles cut to size but will inevitably have 2 grout lines which got me wondering if a large enough tile (it would be huge) existed to do it in a oner, or if I might be able to source a cheap offcut of grey granite (or black) or possible slate? Don't want to spend a fortune to avoid a couple of grout lines but reckon a one piece top would look nice! Any thoughts on cost before I present the financial options to the Mrs!? I could cut and polish up to about 20mm thick using my own tools, so can't be too ambitious.
