SICIS mosaics

Has anybody got any experience of dealing with this manufacturer or fixing their mosaics, i've got a customer who's looking for a bathroom feature from them.

Is there a particular range or design your after and have you much experience with this type of mosaic?
They are described in their literature as works of Art and they cost as much.

I've fixed their stainless steel mosaic before - beautiful stuff, but resin filled so I used epoxy

Yesssssss, Ive done a few of jobs using Sicis, one was a spa in docklands, and the other a hotel job. Like Merle, I love their stuff, but the costs were and still are sky high.

Ive used Sicis mosaics. Ive fixed their 15 x 15 paper faced glass mosaics. The paper can be a pain, sometimes theres two sheets stuck together or sections patched on! Ive never had to supply them.

yes i have fixed them very expensive, look nice !!fancy display hanger, not as nice or got the choice as original-style they are the best in the country for mosaic at the mo IMO i'm fixing turkish at the mo

I've worked with bisazza mosaics before and was wondering if sicis supplied there own epoxy grout along the same lines as bisazza.
The customer originally wanted one of the portrait style ranges but is now leaning towards a patterned flower style so we'll see. Thanks for the info all, keep it coming if you've anymore.

sicis are my favorite mosaic, they dont have their own grout like bisazza do,we use the litokol epoxy when working with them, they have several different ranges Bibliotheque in Muswell Hill stock their tiles as do Surface in Battersea
