On my cutter I just put a bit of masking tape on both ends scribe and cut tile leave it in position and then mark on tape. Works fine on mine.Rubi do a bolt on laser for their rail saws under £30 I think.
Do we have crossed wires mate?On my cutter I just put a bit of masking tape on both ends scribe and cut tile leave it in position and then mark on tape. Works fine on mine.

It's not my thread, Haha
The OP asked for a bolt on laser, rubi do one, that's it.
But I must admit, I am struggling with your explanation,
I don't really understand it.
Sorry
Ah! Now I get it. Apologies! No crossed wires. Op was saying he was having trouble lining his cutting wheel up to where he was cutting 1 or 2 mm out. So what I said was to put a piece of masking tape at each end of the cutter,(on the bed) one at front and one at the other end where you tile ends. Make your cut leave the cut piece where it is and mark on your tape where the cut is. Then all you have to do is put tile adjacent to marks on tape.
I don't get what the problem is...measure your cuts, dot on each end of tile, hit the dots with the scribe wheel bobs yer uncle, I've only had a sigma for about 6 months and its the best piece of kit I've ever bought...bar none
