Hello, I have just purchased my first Sigma (3b2m) to replace my rubi ts50..
I just wondered how you guys store them in the van?

As my rubi had a case.. do you bother with a case?
Do you take off the measure bar every time you place in the van, or do you put it in, as is..
As the measure bar sticks out, I don't want this to get damaged!!!

measure bar always gets taken off for me ,unless am in a rush.

I have my one hanging up by the measuring bar on hooks,it's tidy and out of the way

I remove the measuring bar save it getting damaged....

I've got an old one and the measuring bar is small so I just unlock the guide bar push it over into the 45 position lock it and sling it in the van I have a sigma 60 had it 15 years and only just replaced the wheel with a titanium wheel good choice of cutter it won't let you down

You'd think they would supply a nice green or red box for them!

They do one case that's quite big. A one size fits all scenario... As long as the cutter you choose isn't bigger than the box lol!?!

Hmmmm, thanks chaps.. think I might follow the majority, and take it off,
must re-organise the van and find a safe home for it.

I find carrying the cutter with the measuring still attached there's every chance of scraping a wall or some paint work in the house.
