Silicon advise

Hi

just a quick question. Just finish off a bath surround where they want a light grey grout and white Silicon.
Would you still fill the gap with the grout where one wall meets the other wall around the bath and leave it like that or would you then apply the Silicon on top or would that cause problems.

Fill the joints with Silicon not grout! Expansion...

As above.... it is an expansion joint..

Go round sanitary ware with white and get a matching grey for internal corners etc

Thank u for your replies. Also what would you suggest would be a reasonable amount of time to wait for the grout to dry before applying Silicon. I'll be using ardex narrow joint flexy grout.

Read the instructions on the bag,when it's dry it's ready to Silicon!
