silicone and grouting

Hi I've just tiled a shower area and my boss has told me to grout the tiles sitting on the tray.Should I just not put a silicone joint there instead?Also should I run a silicone joint in the corners from ceiling to floor also.Cheers

Hi Davy, yes, silicone around the shower tray and I always silicone internal corners top to bottom.

All internal joints should be classed as movement joins & dealt with respectively ie Silicone...
