Silver Shadow Marble

Im doing a design specification for a Bank at the moment. I have been sent a sample of this marble through and I do like it. However, has anyone worked with this and had any problems? or has anyone got any photos of any works done in this?

Not one i have come across lynn..

Do you think there should be any probs with it.. like some green marbles have..?

i have worked with it ,its a silver coloured travertine type marble very weak to work with, so buy plenty for wastage not used it in slab form only 60x40x15mm tiles

Im thinking 30mm large format cut to size, with stainless steel trim running around the edges of each piece I first tried this on Americian Airlines at Heathrow a couple of years ago and they loved it.

you can only have the trim on 2 sides as if it goes all the way around the stone the trim becomes double thickness where the stones meet each other ,its alot of work for the yard but looks impressive if you manage to do it well
