Silver travertine tiles - but what colour grout?

Hi all,

I'm in the process of tiling our bathroom walls in a silver travertine (effect) ceramic tile.
(36x28cms)

I'm unsure of what colour grout to use.

I was thinking grey but the wife is worried that the tiles will all blend in together giving no definition to the tiles, and that it will look like the walls are all just grey.

I disagree; due to the travertine effect the tiles are all a different shade.

what have other ppl done?

I agree with you, gunmetal grey would be my choice

.....Forgot to add that I've put the tiles up in a brickwork effect.

Without a doubt, pick the most prominent grey colour in the tiles and choose the closest to that. The tiles are meant to look like natural stone and they wouldn't have either light or dark straight lines running straight through them.

I disagree swanman, I think that limestone is possibly the most wrong choice !!!

Mapaei Ultra colour Manhattan not sure how to get the pics on here but go to Facebook and put in Tartela Tiling and look at Marble En Suite Wetroom done in August the colour when dried went really well with the silver shadow
