Why is it not possible to add moderators/admins to "ignore lists"?

Because administrators and moderators often warn members within a thread content rather than being more formal and private messaging if it is just something minor, like a swear word in a thread in the public forum perhaps. So all members need to be aware of what all moderators are saying, just in case.

Moderators and admins also can't add members to their ignore lists for similar reasons - we need to read what all of you are saying to ensure we're keeping the forum running smoothly.

Thank you for your reply Dan. I would like to request that you consider changing your policy along the lines of members currently assigned moderator/admin privileges exercise their duties using a dedicated Moderator or Admin tag, instead of their member tag. Obviously no one could, or would need to, put an Admin tag on an ignore list.The reason for my request, and I'm not being funny, I'm being honest, is one moderator this morning responded to another member's question about whether anyone had used Montolit drill bits for use in an angle grinder and if so, how they rated them with "have you tried these?" and a link to 365Drills' website. I don't particularly want to read anything that member has to say in future, unless it is specifically in his capacity as a moderator/admin, hence why I attempted to put him on my ignore list.
