SLC on chipboard?

In the process of a small bathroom refit. Spent today tiling the floor with 33x33 ceramics. The floor is chipboard in good condition with no deflection which I screwed down and then installed 6mm hardiebacker.

The floor has a bit of a dip in due to a low joist about 4/5mm I got over it by bedding up the tiles over this area however this obviously took a fair amount of time to ensure good levels and no lippage.

My question is would it be an option in the future to use an SLC before installing the hardiebacker? How would you guys get over this?

I would SLC after the hardi is fitted, a bit like if you had installed UFH. Just make sure its a good flexi one. Plus you would be able to complete the prep in one day rather than, slc, set, hardi, set, then tile.

Yes whitebeam I've used bal single part fastflex for hardie and tiles. I know some will say spf would be ok... I tend to be over cautious!!

not bal anyway, I think 'beam may have been having a joke there. I lay the hardie first and then slc over it, same as Brian.

Which addy and SLC would you choose in this situation?

not much choice in my neck of the woods, so I tend to use Ultra, rapid set addy and Ultra two part slc. Although I do have some weber addy and spf to test and some mapei renovation slc to test too.
