A little tip, if you spread your adhesive with a 4mm trowel and then roll the matting into this it will hold the mat down and helps stop the floating of the heating mats when you do your SLC pour.

Oh and make sure its flexi adhesive suitable for UFH and when using this method, fast set flexi adhesive is best unless you can leave it overnight before the SLC

It's loose wire rather than mats and I'm planning on using a hot melt glue gun to stop the cable floating in the slc. I'm planning on using Keraquick to fix the insulation boards to the timber floor, and keraquick to fix the tiles to the slc. I'm not used to Mapei so still learning which products to use. The Fibreplan is a bit dear isnt it, about twice the price of what I would normally use.

Would be better to use Latex Plus additive as well if it's on a timber floor.
