hi i was wondering if anyone can tell me of a good but fairly cheap slc to go onto a concrete floor. The lowest point being around 10mm from the highest point.I'm covering about 6m2 and is a kitchen. Im using ceramic tiles on top with a rapid set. I can get to a CTD however if wickes or b&q do one thats cheaper but good then i can get there. Many thanks and have a good xmas n new year everyone.

The fibre plan is about £25 a bag...CTD do a weber niv one that is cheaper...be careful what you buy when going 10mm deep...

Can you not get to a Tile giant..?

£25 per bag on concrete @10mm. Don't want to critisise but the Mapei fibre plan is well over spec for this application in my opinion. £6 per 20kg bag from any builders merchants, just throw a little sand in it.

You can add chippings to any Slc Rufus...but it is not really a method i would advise unless you have done it before or been shown how to , don't you agree.?...and get the mix wrong and it will be soft and crumble..

Weber Niv at CTD will be your best bet....cheapest of the 3 i mentioned..around 15 quid or used to be..

try £23.99 from builders merchant m8.I just used the stuff from b and q and thought it was really good..cant remember the name but will post it later.

Its called SIKA and is £15.98 for a 25kg bag,covers 3m2 at 5mm depth.
It contains latex
