Whats the smallest cut you have got from you manual rubi or sigma cutter?

mine is 10mm after stressing and pulling my hair out with a rubi

less than that off my rubi tx 700, probs about a 5mm, granted after scoring I took the 600 porc outta machine and used nibblers but still achieved a straight 5mm x 600mm straight snap, more than once I hasten to add.

Depends on the type of tile. Just used some 500 x 340mm porc and cut off 10mm off the long side with a rubi tx 700!

10mm no probs with my Sigma cutter,However My TS60+ is great for small pieces...cause it likes to shatter everything !!

To be fair a ts cutter is not designed to cut thin as it breaks from the end .

Thin or thick,Porc or ceramic it still likes to break corners into wee bits !!!

Yep. about 10mm from the top/bottom but you can weaken tough tiles by putting a bit of pressure along the tile then hit it. Unless your cutting mosaic then you start in the middle and work back breaking each one.

That doesn't count Mr Boardley you need to use your breaker. :lol: An adjustable spanner works well for getting small strips off tiles in one piece.

Off a full tile I struggle with owt under 10mm,easy with a 20mm piece cut in half though ,only on the tx 700 though,my ts+ only comes out on ceramics
