Get your winter tyres for your vans...Bit of snow and the price will shoot up. Made so much difference driving around in the snow last year.

I have my snow boots and will be able to go everywhere on foot until January when I should be going back to work... still looking for a Land Rover but prices are still ridiculous cos of the last few bad winters so at the weekend I'll be going to look at a Renault Megane Sport Tourer. The S40 doesn't fit all of the buggy parts in it

Heard a report a while back that we are in for a bad winter but it also said we were going to have a warm summer. had a couple of good weeks & that was it, usual for sunny scotland though.

Well yes, that may well be the case, but strikes are forecast, too, the combination of which is a bit of a nightmare. I just want them to get here. And Andrew made a good point about the winter tyres, to get them early, might get some this year...ok, back to sunny thoughts, might have a few days of it yet, eh?
