this is the first time iv tiled its took a long time didnt relize how much work was involved in tiling thanks to the forum on all the tips

the picture with the bath has a 2 inch gap to the tile should i cut a 2inch tile to fit the gap or will it look daft or is there a way i could raise the bath up
will post some more pic when iv finished

nice idea the problem is the bath sits next to the doorway and i was going to have the door opening to the bath as the the bathroom is small 7foot by 5foot this is a pic to show how close the bath is to the door

see what you mean,however i would still sort out those floorboards and ply the floor before continuing with the walls as your bath may raise up in height!:thumbsup:

Just cut it in as it is....or the bath panel will not fit and lifting it will cause you more work for a newbie....looks well though ....what size joints have you, they kind of tight..?
hi dave the grout lines are 2mm.. joint lines are 2mm some bits are 3mm my mesuring lol
i overlaped the tiles

why not rase the whole floor, if you're going to tile the floor,use 3 sheets of 1/2" marine ply, and make the rest up with tile and adhesive, this will bring the bath up to the required hight, you would have to trim the door, or do you have enough room in the hall to reverse hinge the door to open out the way?
