Just seen that link on another site..must be trying to make it busier..:lol:

I've decided to get an apprentice first, then consider a showroom when he/she get up to speed in a few years. I don't think I could cope with the extra work load and stress, I've got enough to do fitting never mind trying to run a showroom as well! Small steps I think.

True, very true... i would open a shop but like you, too busy to make it work..

I think what I might do first is, find an existing flooring showroom (carpets/amtico/karndean etc) and see if I can get a few sample boards in there, then I don't have to worry about the selling side of things. Could get a load of stone from PHG for example, that might be a nice way to start out and make a few quid for the right shop.
