I mentioned a bit ago that I was hoping to open a showroom this year and I wanted to call it 'Imagine' (stems from my daughter Imogen), so googled the name to see if anyone already had it and this came up!

I've decided to get an apprentice first, then consider a showroom when he/she get up to speed in a few years. I don't think I could cope with the extra work load and stress, I've got enough to do fitting never mind trying to run a showroom as well! Small steps I think.

I think what I might do first is, find an existing flooring showroom (carpets/amtico/karndean etc) and see if I can get a few sample boards in there, then I don't have to worry about the selling side of things. Could get a load of stone from PHG for example, that might be a nice way to start out and make a few quid for the right shop.
