Quoting for 8 sq mtr stone tiling on a concrete base of conservatory to include UFH:-
Prime
Fix 10mm marmox with rapid set
Fix 200 watt ufh mat
Flood mat with flexible slc
Fix Ditra with rapid set
Fix tiles with flex rapid set

Sound ok? Do you think a 200 watt per sq mtr system too high for stone, possibly travertine?

You will be using SPF to fix the Marmox ?

I generally use Keraquick but might try Proflex to keep the cost down a bit.

When installing U/F Heating over we always say, approximatley 2mm powder flexible tile adhesive under the boards to fix.

Is 200 watts too high for travertine. Some suppliers only go up to 150/160 watts, maybe there's a good reason for this?

You could swap the Ditra for Dural, that would save you some pennies. Buy a 10m roll from tradetiler.

Yes, 200w/m2 is good for a Conservatory when installed on Marmox with stone floor finish.

Some suppliers do not stock 200w/m2 systems, because they are just box movers. Some of them say 150w/m2 for everything.

We have four Mat systems, 100w/m2 - on wood bases. 140w/m2 - under laminate etc. 160w/m2 - for Tile etc floor finishes. 200w/m2 - for Tile etc floor finishes in a Conservatory. 160w/m2 & 200w/m2 if on concrete or insulation boards.
We also have three loose Cable systems, installed in five different ways.
