splash back screws

Hello everyone,
can anyone tell me the size of screws needed ,when a splash back has been added to a kitchen, to secure the sockets back to the wall.
Length and diameter would be great , please.

you can cut them down with pliers if too long

50mm def most popular, i came across a couple which needed longer but 2 out of loads aint much,lol.

50mm is ther norm...........you can get 75mm for the really useless sparky

50mm normally covers most sockets and tile thickness.

MMMmmm, only one thing I would do different to the statement in Faithhealers post. I grout and clean first then screw back the sockets, I do this for 3 reasons, getting the grout all the way behind the faceplate, some of the newer metal plates tarnish if they get wet, and to avoid possible damage / scratching by either grout float or other means

I wasn't sure wher it came from, that's why I just just said the statement in ya post mate I knew you knew
