Split face stone

Hi,
I am fitting a panel of split face marble mosaic as a feature. There are no gaps for grout. The rest of the wall will be tiled with large marble tiles using a 10mm trowel, should I leave the mosaic until last and bring the wall out a little in order to use a mosaic trowel,4mm as I understand or as there are no gaps will a 10 mm trowel be OK?

Yeah, fit the field tile first, then build the wall out so you can use a 4/6mm trowel on the mosaics. How wide/high is the panel?

Bri,

It’s in a wet room but on a dry wall furthest away from the shower, it should not get wet but may get damp due to the environment. Roughly about 2 meters high by one meter wide.
Another question is how do I seal this, just spray it on thinly or brush?
