Splitting laying into 2 parts

I have just finished laying one half of the kitchen with screed. The other half is wbp plywood.
Due to the curing time of upto 50 days for the screed, could i start on the ply side as i have made an expansion joint between the two.

Get one side down and start fitting that side of the kitchen while the other side is drying out?

Good idea or not?

I did the same thing with my own kitchen.

Assume the screed is a sand and cement mix and laid almost dry and quite thick. Mind you 50 days seems a long wait. I think I was given 3 weeks.

yes crack on,as long as the screed has a few days to cure

You could always use a vapour equalisation membrane..Dural Ci for the screed area ot even an adhesive suitable for green screeds...

I don't think it will take the full 50 and will do a moisture test to confirm it. But checked the door level today as i needed to jack the door up a bit to get a tile and adhesive down and i am not going to be able to do it. I never fitted the door by the way. So it looks like i am now going to have to let that dry out and hire a grinder to take it down a bit further. More mess, more money, more hassle.
I think i will have a break for a few days then see about doing the ply half. Hopefully seeing one half down will get me back on track.
