I've been looking at that one Rob, and the new dewalt, can't make my mind up,which one to get! I think Phil Hobson has the stabila and says it is very good.

Got one at crimbo Rob great tool for a cracking price, dont know how good it would be on a big job.

Stabila is a very good bit of kit, I use mine all the time. no use on floor thought, just for wall tiling.

Pretty sure by the time you deduct your forum discount its the best vdeal on the net or there abouts, call Diatech for a laugh they quoted £160 :lol:

Took delivery of TT,s Makita Grinder 110v and that Montolit blade I was after for about 110 quid, would struggle to beat that elsewhere.

Monty blade is a peach slightly edges the Marcrist, lets see how long it lasts.

The monty blade is a belter Brian, I'm about 2/3 months in to mine and it's still as good as the day I got it. Careful on soft ceramics though, can be a bit brutal, helps to score first to avoid chipping.

The Monti is strictly for porcs have a couple of blades I use for ceramics & the same for stone.

Good to hear it lasts, had a few microfine blades in the past crack/split on me from that mob in Perth
