Hi all

Just a couple of questions I need a little help with.

I bought a piece of slate for a fireplace hearth which I have had cut and polished.

On the same day I picked it up I have managed to drop a bit of clear Silicon sealant on it which I wiped off, the problem is it has left a dark stain.

I know the slate needs to be sealed before it is laid.

How can I remove the stain and what is the best product to seal it after.

Thanks

Paul
