Hi Everyone :)

I am going to be laying a load of 600 x 600 basalt.
I am applying a preliminary coat of Lithofin Stain Stop Plus before laying the tiles.
I am using a sponge and am getting a slightly streaky finish - also it soaks up the Lithofin like a sponge!
I'm not sure if I should carry on applying it or if it will sort itself out on the second coat after laying

Any advice greatfully received
Thanks and have a great weekend

Hi, when you apply stain stop, wait for 5-10 min. and wipe tiles with dry cloth

Thanks - even if its really porous? On the instructions for porous surfaces it says to carry on applying and redistributing every 10 mins for an hour then just to let dry - your suggestion would be a lot easier and quicker :)
