Discuss Starting point for tiling walls in the Canada Tile Advice area at TilersForums.com.

I will be using 30 x 60cm tiles on bathroom walls. Guy in the tile shop suggested starting mid point vertical and horizontal, but if batten the mid point its going to be tricky to batten to tile the bottom half?

I am thinking surely its better to mark out and batten second row from floor and then finish by cutting the bottom row?
