sorry to say this bri but the best steak pie ive ever had was this year in englandshire:yikes: the bowe incline hotel in newcastle to be exact,,they seem to have an old school chef there,simple food but perfectly done well worth a visit all you geordie lads

Just had a read on my local paper and the butchers i go to is in MUIHEAD,S.Collins and son...they won the gold award in the world championships for scotch pies and bridies and also clinched the runners up award in the 'Butchers shop of the year award'.
