Hi All

Just a quick question

A customer of mine had me lay 35 metres of slate,multi format,multi coloured with colour enhancer sealant on,2 coats and all is well.
She's asked me to go back and do all the skirting in the slate aswell but asked me a question that i didnt want to answer there and then.

Can she use a steam cleaner on the tiles? like the ones on the tv advertisements,little green thing that can clean grout amazingly bla bla
would it affect the sealant? i thought it might but then thought if the sealant in soaked into the tile and its been down 5 months then maybe its ok. thought id get some advice of you guys first beforeputting my foot in it

Stay away from them in my experience eventually she will break down that sealer with the steam. Then it will start to look patchy. Best method is a swiffer mop with a silicon spray on it this will attract all the dirt and dust then mop and bucket with a good Mop head on it and a capfull of ph neutral cleaner no more needed
