steam room tanking

Hiya, i am new here and i am looking for advice and tips for my first steam shower.

I will be fitting a 2000x800 former to the floor with a centre liner drain, under floor heating matt will be on top then ceramic or porcelain tiles. I will be putting a 12.5mm themal insulation board (like a wadi) on all the walls and ceiling (which is on a slant) and then the whole room will be mosaics...

I plan to tank the whole room including the ceiling with a tanking kit using a paint on rubberised solution, taping all the joints and using tape corners eveywhere etc. and i have a specialist steam shower door being fitted.,

I may look for a 1 peice aqua panel/shower panel to go on the ceiling. any suggestions?
and any suggestions on if this is the correct tanking and any other advice please.

Are you fitting a steam generator? If so use epoxy grout. All others will go mouldy.

yes fitting a 7kw steam gen. the epoxy grout looks expencive especially as customer was looking for the whole room in mosaic... maybe i will suggst a feature wall only and i have been reccomended altro whiterock for the ceiling. www.altro.co.uk/Altro-Whiterock-White
