As it's supposed to be summer i find myself with people asking me to tile their steps,found this tricky for a couple of reasons

1.customer cannot find tiles ,so job is delayed or i drive round tile shops with them and charge for it.

2.getting tile to stick to the side of step without standing holding it before the ady sta\rts to kick in.

3.the weather holds me up.

Ardex have got a product that sticks bricks to walls - will that help

1 part flexi ady seal with bal bond prior to fixing porcelain tiles suitable fo outside tiling as frost resistent

You could make some kind of stand using bits of wood to help prop the tiles on the side, or better still, a small stack of tiles. From a 'where are the tiles' point of view, i'd make sure you tell Mr Jones to be sure the tiles are there or if you need to pick them up, be sure they're in stock before you set off. And for the weather..... god only knows. Short of making a temporary shelter I can't think of anything for that one. I did find a sun-dance website once but I'm not too sure how effective it is.
